 Preparing Your Items The better they look ...The better they sell!! Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your merchandise for sale. Clothing : - Please be sure that your clothes are freshly laundered, ironed, and on hangers.
- Please check your items carefully for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, lost buttons, etc.
- We will be double-checking all items, and will not accept items that are not in excellent condition (which makes it nice for the shoppers too).
- Use child size plastic hangers.
- You can use the store hangers or child size hangers can be purchased at Target or Wal-Mart (in the children’s section) with little expense.
- The hangers will be sold with the item and not be returned.
- The opening of the hanger should be facing to the left, and look like a question mark when facing you.
- Pants, and skirts should be on pants hangers or safety pinned to the hanger (not folded over), so they do not end up on the floor and lost.
- Rubber band, tape or tie all sets and accessories securely together.
- Keep in mind that for this sale we are only accepting Spring/Summer Clothing.
- This includes Children’s Sizes Newborn thru Juniors, and Maternity.
Shoes: - Please bring only like-new shoes that are in excellent condition.
- Shoes must be tied or secured together (smaller shoes fit nicely into large zip-lock bags). Please not in shoe boxes.
- Limit 10 pair/ consignor.
Bedding: - Bedding sets can be placed over large hangers, and carefully secured (we don’t want to lose anything). These can also be placed in the original packaging.
- Small receiving blankets can be grouped in 2 or 3 together and placed in large Zip-lock bags.
Loose Items: - Small loose items can be grouped together appropriately and placed in Zip-lock bags.
- Please seal these with clear tape and pin or tape the tag to the bag.
Toys, Furniture, and Baby Equipment: - Again, all items must be very clean and in working order.
- Battery operated items must have working batteries in them.
- Place small parts/pieces in Zip-lock bags and securely attach them to the main part.
- Games, Toys, Puzzles, etc. must have all pieces.
- Games should be taped closed.
- Wooden puzzles should be wrapped in Saran Wrap to keep the pieces together.
Books: - The tag should be placed on the cover with tape. Please do not place the sticker directly on the books. This ruins the quality of the books.
